I have a large and challenging piece of hilly rocky property in Northern California. The 35 or 40 hp. Kioti seems like a good bet to handle what could be a severe workload moving rocks and cutting heavy brush. The best Kioti pricesI have been able to find have been in South Texas and Illinois. When you take into account the discounted prices and the trailer they throw into the deals added to the fact that there is no punitive California sales tax, it makes sense to buy it on-line and have it shipped out here for $1.25 per mile. With no local dealer relationship it may be necessary for me to do much of the service myself. Then again, they may be happy with the warranty revenue? I will have the space and the tools and I assume the mechanics are not too exotic. Anybody out there with experience using the service manuals and doing self repairs?

Frank, I found a Kioti dealer in Central Oregon last month with real competive prices. There is no sales tax up there. ....

Frank, I just took on the Branson line here in Northern California (Red Bluff). I sell Yanmars as well, but wanted to take on a new line and found excellent quality in this Korean Tractor, and great prices. Frank, I am not a dealer but I wanted to mention that as a LK3054 owner, I've reviewed very carefully the owner's manual and have had just a small amount of driving experience but in this day of overcomplicated machinery, the Kioti seems to be ONE SIMPLE MACHINE, even for a Business Administration type such as myself! As you know diesel engines are not complicated and the rest of the tractor seems to be about the same, not complicated. If you have any mechanical aptitude, it would be one that you could work on.
